Full Moon

Cygnus glows above our heads:

through curtains half-closed,

streetlamp moonlight splinters

this bed—you & I, whispering

arms wrapped tight like swans,

like neither of us plan to leave

before morning


Kallie Swyer is a senior English (creative writing) major who has been writing poetry since she was eight years old in Guilderland, NY. When she isn’t cooking, singing along to the Hamilton soundtrack, or reading tarot cards, she can be found buying more scented candles than any one person needs.
