Britina Cheng is a New York based writer and illustrator. She self-published a graphic memoir, re:bound, in March 2018.
Shauna Ricketts is a recipient of a 2018-19 Fulbright U.S. Student Program Award and operates as an English Teaching Assistant in Pravets, Bulgaria. She is in the process of organizing the first annual Pravets Film Festival for students across Bulgaria to participate in. Her recent ethnographic work and photography will be featured in ungleich magazin. She served as Founder/Director of the CHROMATIC Digital-Visual Arts Collective at SUNY Geneseo, where she graduated in 2017.
Arnold Barretto is an artist who works predominantly in photography and graphic design. He moved to the United States in 2016. His hobbies include listening to podcasts, drinking a lot of coffee and performing in drag shows.
Jackie Ta is a senior BFA Artist in Painting and Graphic Design at SUNY Plattsburgh. She is from Vietnam. Her paintings reflect her travel destinations, as well as objects that fascinate her.
Erin Doescher is a junior in the BFA program at SUNY Plattsburgh, concentrating in Ceramics and Painting. Over the past three years she has been developing her interpretation and discussion of human relations and reactions to each other, objects and spaces through her gestural figurative sculpture and paintings.
Marita Bray is a multimedia artist utilizing the mediums of printmaking, sculpture, and textile art. They received their BFA in Studio Art in 2017. Overarching themes present in their work include those of family relations, motherhood, gender, and queer identity. While abstract shapes and whimsical linework reference the human body and physiology, these devices become lyrical manifestations that allow for open conversation.
Azure Arnot is an artist and maker. She graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a BFA in printmaking and a BA in Gender and Women’s Studies. She currently works on her art and works with adults with developmental disabilities.
Jane Galletti is an Upstate New York-based landscape/abstract painter and ceramic artist who graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in May of 2017 with her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. Jane’s inspiration is gathered from the natural world around her; she is constantly traveling to see new sites to gather inspiration and convey something beautiful from the world through the viscous intimacy of her paint.
Julien Miller is a painter/animator from Fly Creek, NY. In 2017, he received his BFA in Painting and Drawing from SUNY Purchase. He currently maintains a studio practice in Brooklyn making experimental handmade animations. Shooting frame-by-frame, combining replacement and stop motion techniques, he assembles universes to explore storytelling through animation.
