40mg Omeprazole, Once Daily
he left me
corroded, rust bucket
gut,
diseased:
we’re all falsetto now.
it’s the black plague!
i know F major now,
ammunition too heavy
to carry.
he’s sprawled across bedsheets,
windows,
two blankets, so
leg untouched
leg,
twitching eight counts in REM.
oil spill molars,
bile-lubed joints,
wound
open on the mantle. on the
Tiffany lamp.
half-soldered scraps
turn to mirrors.
check my form in the
cracks,
warped and mangled, phrase
lost
in translation,
in arms and metal and contract and release out
my mouth.
