Lesson Learned

I wonder what my friends are gonna say
“I told you so,” and now I got to save face
You wonder why I start to feel this way
Told me what you wanted to say, then you went the other way

I just wanted to know
How you really felt when you would go ghost
Didn’t I tell you that my feelings would grow?
Isn’t it obvious that I tried to
Make you feel something?

Remember when I told you how I felt?
You understood and said you felt the same way
I don’t know when these things started to change
Someone else has felt this pain
Looks like we’re one and the same
I shared with you my deepest, darkest pains.
You took them in, and then you did the same.

I just wanted to know how you really felt when you would go ghost
Didn’t I tell you that my feelings would grow?
Isn’t it obvious that I tried too
Make you feel something?
